If you’re an international student hoping to study in the UK, an in-depth virtual open day could be the key to choosing your dream university.
Liverpool Hope University is a thriving, historic institution offering a wide range of degrees at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level.
And if you want to learn more about a higher education pathway that will pave the way for future employability, an upcoming Hope virtual open day on Wednesday 8th December 2021 could provide you with the information you need – all from the comfort of your laptop.
Nestled in the heart of one of the UK’s most vibrant cities, Liverpool Hope University enjoys two beautifully designed main teaching campuses. The innovative city centre Creative Campus is solely dedicated to the creative and performing arts, while the main Hope Park Campus is located in a leafy, affluent suburb a few miles to the south and enjoys state-of-the-art facilities.
A virtual open day gives you the chance to tour both online.
Alongside excellent departments in the sciences, particularly Mathematics and Computer Sciences, sits the acclaimed Business School, which is accredited by the globally-renowned US-based Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
And as well as degrees spanning the Arts and Social Sciences, new programmes cover everything from Artificial Intelligence to Contemporary European Affairs.
To find out what programme of study might suit you best, head to Hope’s virtual open day and get information on everything from course content and who your lecturers will be, to financial advice and guidance on accommodation.
Charlotte Bolland, Senior International Student Recruitment Officer at Hope, says: “Virtual open days give international students the opportunity to really engage with academics, current students and support staff, and to learn all about campus life, all without having to physically travel here. For us, it’s about students really being able to see themselves arriving and thriving at Hope, and feeling confident about how studying with us will give them the opportunity to flourish in their professional careers.”
Charlotte says a virtual open day covers advice on how to apply – as well as which course to opt for. She adds: “Virtual open days offer insight into the modules you’ll study throughout your degree, any industry standard-facilities that might be available during your studies, and other related opportunities, such as potential work placements, to ensure your course prepares you for your perfect job after graduation.”
The virtual open day will also give you the chance to get informed about accommodation, to learn about all of the facilities on site – including Hope’s £5.5m sports facility – as well as the chance to hear from graduates.
Charlotte reveals: “Virtual open days include input and experiences from existing students, so there’s plenty of chances to get some real insight into university life from those who’ve lived and breathed it.”
